Le Vidette is a full-service creative studio specializing in video, sound, and virtual production. We combine experimental visuals, music-driven narratives, and digital worldbuilding to deliver high-quality, immersive experiences across mediums.
Founded in Los Angeles by filmmaker and multidisciplinary creative Lejla Subašić, Le Vidette functions as both a production studio and a creative lab. We craft cinematic and digital experiences including music videos and visual storytelling, Unreal Engine environments and virtual production, VFX and post-production, live visuals and VJ sets, as well as art-driven campaigns and experimental content.
The goal is simple: to create work that is engaging, textured, and memorable.
ABOUT LEJLA
Lejla Subašić is a Bosnian-American filmmaker, editor, and multidisciplinary artist working at the intersection of analog grit, Unreal Engine worlds, and left-field music culture. Her work moves between directing, editing, live visuals, and performance, all orbiting a single obsession: building strange, emotional worlds that feel electric and cinematic.
She played a major role in GARY SCREAMS FOR YOU, a short film that premiered at TIFF and was workshopped at Cannes Focus WiP in 2022, serving as executive producer, creative consultant, DIT, and AC. She’s collaborated with indie artists, commercial teams, and cult figures like David Liebe Hart. On set, she’s worn basically every hat... and treats technical chaos like a sport.
Lejla is also one of the minds behind SHEEPSPEAK, her music project that blends darkwave, post-punk, and experimental electronics, weaving fragile-to-commanding vocals through live and programmed percussion, digital and analog synths, and layered textures. She also DJs and VJs, folding her filmmaking brain straight into her sound.
Her practice also includes writing essays, reflections, and cultural analysis, published across platforms and expanded through her Substack, where she documents creative process and philosophy with clarity, humor, and a grounded sensibility.
Across film, music, and writing, her work is connected by atmosphere and intention.
She’s based in LA, often negotiating peace treaties between her software and her hardware.
